Supported Independent Living (SIL) Albury Wodonga
Your home. Your choices. The right support to live your way.
Sure Care Social & Aged Care provides welcoming Supported Independent Living (SIL) homes where people with disability can enjoy greater independence, choice and control while receiving personalised support with everyday life.
Our SIL homes provide more than just accommodation — they provide a place to feel comfortable, supported and connected. Support is tailored to each participant's individual needs, goals, routines and preferences, with a focus on dignity, independence and quality of life.

SIL Homes Across Albury Wodonga
Sure Care has a range of homes across the Albury Wodonga region available for Supported Independent Living (SIL), Short Term Accommodation (STA) and Medium Term Accommodation (MTA).
We aim to create safe, comfortable and welcoming home environments where participants can maintain their personal space and independence while receiving the support they need.
Our team can work with participants, families, carers and Support Coordinators to help identify suitable accommodation and support arrangements.
Support With Everyday Living
SIL support can assist with everyday activities such as personal care, preparing meals, cooking, cleaning, household routines and developing practical living skills.
Our support workers encourage you to be involved in everyday tasks wherever possible, helping you build confidence and become more independent over time.
Independence, Choice & Privacy
Living with support doesn't mean giving up your independence.
Sure Care encourages participants to make their own choices, maintain their privacy and decide how they want to spend their time.
We take the time to understand what is important to you, what you enjoy and what you would like to achieve so your support fits naturally around your lifestyle.
Building Daily Living Skills
A major focus of SIL is helping participants develop skills that make everyday life easier.
This may include learning to prepare meals, manage household routines, develop social skills, manage money and bills, maintain personal care routines and become more confident making everyday decisions.
As your abilities and confidence develop, your goals and support arrangements can be reviewed.
Social & Community Participation
Living independently also means having opportunities to enjoy life outside the home.
We can support participants to maintain relationships, explore personal interests and become involved in suitable social, recreational and community activities.
We take the time to understand what you enjoy and what you want to achieve so your support reflects your interests rather than simply your day-to-day care requirements.

SIL, STA & MTA Accommodation
Depending on your individual circumstances and NDIS plan, Sure Care accommodation may be suitable for:
Supported Independent Living (SIL) – ongoing support with everyday activities for eligible participants who require assistance to live as independently as possible.
Short Term Accommodation (STA) – short-term disability support and accommodation for eligible participants, providing a temporary change from their usual living arrangements.
Medium Term Accommodation (MTA) – temporary accommodation for eligible participants who need somewhere suitable to live while waiting for a longer-term home solution.
Our team can discuss current accommodation options and help you understand which type of support may suit your circumstances.
